Finger Wiggle Magic
Swipe-a-ma-Jig 101
Gestures are basically fancy finger gymnastics on your touchscreen (y\u{2019}know, iOS/iPadOS). Since OnSong also lives on macOS like some kind of overachiever, those finger dances translate into boring mouse clicks & trackpad taps. Tap = click. Double-tap = double-click. Revolutionary stuff, we know.
To Pick the Thing
Tap or click on your annotation to grab it & yeet it to the front of the annotation pile. Now you can actually move it around with one finger on iOS/iPadOS, & if you\u{2019}re into that sorta thing, edit text annotations when you tap or click a selected one. Thrilling.
To Shove It Around
Gotta move your annotation somewhere that doesn\u{2019}t look like absolute garbage? Tap & drag (iOS/iPadOS) or click & drag (macOS) to relocate your doodads on the sheet or screen. Wanna get fancy? Use two fingers on the screen (iOS/iPadOS) or trackpad (macOS) to spin, stretch, or resize that bad boy. Or just go be lazy & use the formatting menu. We won\u{2019}t judge.
To Actually Change It
Different annotation types got different editing vibes. Double-tap (iOS/iPadOS) or double-click (macOS) to pop open the editor. Or don\u{2019}t—use the context menu thingy down below if you\u{2019}re feelin\u{2019} spicy.
To Mess With It More
Wanna lock an annotation down so it quits scrollin\u{2019} away? Or do some other random task? Tap & hold (iOS/iPadOS) or right-click (macOS) to unleash the context menu. ZOMG so many options.
When You\u{2019}ve Gone Full Action Hero
If you assigned actions to your annotations (overachiever alert!), everything above goes out the window. Instead: double-tap with TWO fingers (iOS/iPadOS) to bust open the editor, or right-click (macOS) & poke around the context menu. Wild, right?
